Brian South made a big impact in my academics and school life. He has given me many great advice on how to study better and how to focus more in the classroom. Whenever I needed help with a test or essay, Brian would be available anytime to help me out on it. I once almost failed a class due to not being able to understand what I was learning but when I asked Brian to help, he was able to get me to understand the subject and pass the class. Brain South is a great tutor and has helped me reach my goals for college and my future career.

I have known Brian South since I was in the 7th grade. Before I met Brian I had never earned higher than B’s or C’s in my English classes. When I was in the 7th grade I had difficulty expressing what I wanted to say in my essays. Thanks to Brian I am doing well and earning all A’s especially in high school honors English. Without his help I would not do as well as I am now and fully unlock my writing capabilities.

I am with pleasure, speaking on behalf of Mr. South, as he has selflessly guided me in so many ways within the last couple years. He made it very clear to me in the most polite way possible that he will not be writing my paper, but I will write my thoughts or write what I can so far, as he will support me in how to correct it, whether it is grammatically, or to strengthen the content. Being so far away, Mr. South did not hesitate to take the time out of his busy day to spend at least an hour with me on the phone to help me jot down notes for the rest of my paper and to help clear any writing block that I had. Mr. South assured me that me that my outgoing personality will not fail to demonstrate to my interviewers that I surely do qualify to be in their program. He spent time sending me more than 20 sample interview questions that interviewers would ask students. I practiced these questions with him over the phone, as it became almost an instinct for me to reply when hearing this questions and that’s exactly what happened when attending the interview. Fortunately, I could not have been happier with the outcome of how the interview went. Mr. South could not have prepared me better for a time like this and I couldn’t be more thankful for all his help. I have been accepted to the BSN program at Thomas Jefferson University, and I could not have done it without Mr. South. I always recommend him to my friends and will continue doing so!

I can't speak highly enough about Brian South. When I first met him in the seventh grade, I profoundly struggled with reading and writing. When I wrote, it was hard for me to get my creative juices flowing. and write coherently. However, Brian never let that get in the way of helping me improve dramatically. After one year, I achieved my goal of getting into Honors English as an eighth grader because of his mentorship. Since then, being in AP English classes as a high schooler had become the norm for me and I consistently achieve A's in those classes.Without his support, I would have not been as good as a writer as I am now and achieved high level of academic success.
Brian assisted me in creating a documentary that spotlights the underrated, yet significant Virginia Hall, America's first CIA operative and heroine in World War II, whose covert operations led to the defeat of Germany. He connected me with a live historian and author, Judy Pearson Martins, who wrote: The True Story of America's Female Spy.
When I enrolled at the University of Oregon, Brian selflessly mentored me for two years with writing essays and applying for scholarships. Most recently, he guided in applying for a coveted internship in Washington D.C. As a result of his guidance and recommendation, I was accepted at this internship with Fund for American Studies. I could not have achieved all of my success without the assistance of Brian South.

I have known Brian for about eight years as his supervisor and colleague in coaching the students in their academics and educational needs. I am always amazed by his passion, dedication, commitment, and wisdom for teaching and training the students for study skills development, knowledge enhancement, and improved performance in assessments and competitive tests. Brian is a wonderful human being and is highly dependable as a colleague. He is cooperative, punctual, patient and extremely responsible.
I am a testimony for the improvement in the study skills of many middle school, and high school students, and their growth from a timid student to a highly confident student, or a low-performance student to a successful student. Brian has also been phenomenal in providing the guidance, support, and direction to many high school students in deciding their career path in college. He has created a line of students who are critical thinkers and very independent, and ready for college.
When I heard that he is planning to write a book, I was very excited, because his ideas, and genuine interest in uplifting the educational values, and infusing the growth mindset will be very beneficial to students, parents, and teachers alike.
I wish him good luck in his dream to write this book and dedicate to the students. I am quite sure this book will serve its purpose of educating not only students, but also the parents, and teachers.

I have been working with Brian as my tutor for many years now. He is a very knowledgeable and helpful. I mostly come to him for help with English, History, and for my essays. He is incredibly talented with his words and the way he conveys his thoughts and ideas onto paper. When he tutors me, he always tries to lead me to the correct answer rather than simply tell me what the correct answer is. I think that this has helped me develop more as a student and in my creative writing and thinking abilities. He knows about various different topics, and has read a myriad of books (it amazes me). I am extremely grateful that I can work with a tutor like him!

While writing my college essays I worked with Brian South of Choice Educational Consulting, to execute my application essays on time. Brian South was very professional and attentive to my needs. I really valued this because I needed to have my essays done in a matter of days. Before we started writing my essay, Brian called me to schedule a time that was accommodating to my schedule. I appreciated this because Brian’s was three-hours ahead, yet he still adjusted his schedule to be able to accustom to my time-zone. My college essays were due in a short amount of time and Brian was able to condense his three week program into three hours so I would be able to finish before my deadline. Working on my college essays with Brian was an exceptional experience, because he was able to give me crucial insight into how college admission officers look at and decipher an essay. During my experience, I was able to share with Brian my experiences and thoughts to put them into meaningful sentences. I enjoyed my time working with Brian because he was able to aid me in writing my essays with essential information and knowledge about how college admissions analyze an essay. Personally, I would recommend Brian South to any student working on or planning to write a college essay because of his of amount experience and his flexibility to work whenever you need advice in college essay writing.

Brian has been teaching English to our daughter since 2012 when she was in 3rd grade. He helped her understand how to write and transfer her thoughts from brain to the paper. He taught her different writing techniques that as a parent we couldn’t have explained better. She now feels very confident and comfortable in writing. He also encouraged her and shared different ways to improve her grammar and reading skills. This helped her to excel in school and definitely has prepared her for a better future and a good college.
